 Props to vlad
I've never seen this player before, but he has impressed me with his determination. I have SD'd him maybe 6 times in a game and he keeps coming back. I wish we had more players like him in the game today (determined). He would be a good corpie I think if anyone needs one. (Ok, I am assuming vlad is a guy on my he/him). He doesn't talk on Fed and that has cost him an SD or three, but its cool. He unknowingly has been helping me test my script rewrites. Now if I would not have fat fingered the keyboard two days in a row on invasions, I might be in the game today.

No offense, but I did not talk on Fed for a year or three. Medusa never did. We founded Boo! inc with SG and Nightraven, NR was not verbose either, SG was the spokesman grin. Didnt hurt us to keep the lips zipped.

 Re: Props to vlad
It would help the "New" guys if they talked on Fed. Ive tried to help/point out what they should/shouldn't be doing many times.
When they ignore me and keep doing something stupid or tearing up grid recklessly they usually end up 'ship destroyed'.

I was hoping to point out that 100 shields are pretty much useless on an L5+ (may have just been a mistake), and also how I was hitting him. He didn't answer when I talked so I figured either he was ticked off, or didn't want to know.

Both Vlad and Nard Dawg never really talk on FedCom. They have been around for a while. I played against them a few times.

That reminds me of the "Shield Bug" - before HVS let alone TWGS. If you had 1690 (I think) planet shields, the planet was indestructible, apart from collision. Opponents could not reduce the shields. I found a very old version some time ago and will try to make an L5 to check, will take several weeks. It doesn't have twarp2 ships, so it is probably shield bugged. Odd that there are very old versions online still. This one does not have many on the CLV, those who are seem inactive.

Prom, you still sparing unknown's if they talk to you?
As a habit I've been turning off Fedcom's when I play, that may or may not have contributed to him/her not responding.

Yeah, I usually don't SD someone if they are interested in learning what I did to hit them. I did give him a break when I had a delayed plock set and dropped in just to say hi to him. Alarms are a great thing so you don't have to just sit and watch a game - has a tendency to startle me a bit when it goes off. I have cby'd out of that game now.
