Ok LetsEatCrow.
The name is Speed and don’t you forget it.
Just suggesting to call MS support shows you have no business even trying to help peeps fix computer problems. You should really stick to subjects you know something about.
I had a sales rep call MS one time for tech. After a 1/2-hour of troubleshooting with him on the phone they told him to reinstall the driver files for the modem in his computer. He didn’t and brought it to me the next day asking for help all I had to do was go in to dialing property’s and change some simple setting all fixed took 5 min’s of time and was free for him. MS tech I believe cost him $30 for a wrong answer plus a whole night sitting on hold.
You gotta love it.
Only time you catch me calling tech support for something is when I need a RMA. Most of the 1st level peeps you get in tech support don’t even know what they’re trying to fix and refuse to listen to you.
Google is your friend MS tech support is not.
