Does anyone have use any maintenance scripts in addition to the standard Extern? If yes, what kinds?
How are they run against the game?

I'm also specifically looking for script which would help me clean-up / remove player fighters in areas I'd like to consider netural territory.

If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

I have two... one that cleans up figs in sectors 1-5000 (which a separate script is used to make into a huge bubble), and one that cleans figs out up to two hops from FedSpace, and has the option of leaving a single toll fig alone.

Those would be perfect. Is it possible to get a copy of them from you?

I have one I call The_Maid, cleans specific sectors, removes all but single toll figs, clears all haz and removes planets if someone builds in the neutral sectors or moves a planet in to make it easier to get colies. The repo'ing of a planet always makes me laugh when someone gets caught and looses a L4 - L6 planet. Runs on random time interval that you set via menu. I usually set it to keep 4 out form dock and the sectors surrounding fed space.

That's exactly what I'm seeking, would it be possible to get a copy of this script?

We have a multitude of scripts for our site. Some of them include the following:

* ScoreKeeper- runs scores and posts in HTML for our site; produces final scores in a completed game including all assets.

* OCSBot- runs a patrol script in game, marking path from sector 1 to StarDock; runs sweep if the Op wants that path kept clear, or will patrol only and not do a sweep.

* MSGBot- this is a script we designed that will allow me to create a text message and have it sent to all players in a game; can broadcast general Announcements, or send message to each player individually in the game database; also have this script running and producing a text file with each player and the number days they were online- we use this to pass to our ScoreKeeper, which contains an added module we made for our rebang process; also produce individual text files of each game list of players

Those are three of many we use on our site. If you know scripting, you will find that there is so many options that are open to SysOps for enhancing their sites.
