I have a World Trade script I can post at grimys if I can find it. No menu or anything it just goes and trades. It will not go in a sector with a density of 499 or greater and drops def figs.

I will look for it when I get home.

I had TWX lock tonight with another script running.  This one happened after the script had made around 750 cycles.  The program showed as not responding when I tried to shut it down - another instance of TWX was also running and showed as not responding, but it was.  TWX acted like it was caught in an infinite loop but I know the code and it wasn't - no way for that to happen in this situation.  I like the improvements that 2.04 made, but locking up is making me think about going back to 2.03 or even 2.02.

I've had it lock up with a number of scripts so far, not just any other scripts that came with TWX. It seems to happen completely randomly. I can access TWX but it won't send any of my commands to the game until I disconnect/reconnect. I tried the burst thing, but it didn't help.

Any help would be appreciated.

Turn off memory caching and reboot. Go back in on reload and make sure memory caching is still off.

curious about the peeps locking up... what telenet u using...
only time I've locked up is when working on a new script and somehow made that Darn loop... twx pegs cpu then... and only way to shut it down is to kill program..
as far as World trade with twx... no problem... only one i can think of off the bat I've had any issues with is Mass Upgrade... but it just stopped early.. didn't lock anything up.
When it does this check ur cpu, see if its maxing out...That will make alot of programs say not responding, but thats because their just responding too slow cause of CPU max...
btw... i use Zoc/Twx... heh heh ... that other S word and its settings might be causing the issue...

once in awhile same thing would happen to me. My solution that seemed to cure the problem was to turn off incomming messages

heh, Kinda curious if any one running the zoc/twx combo has had this problem... I can't remember it other than some peep trying to kill too early and auto flee is on...

Not sure if same script, but i've seen one ways affect a world trade b4 also...can't move back and script hangs.

Ep would be the one to write a better one with his haggle as a sub rotinue.. HINT...laff I know u got alot going EP, and as a TW player, I thank u for all you've done for twx and the game play itself.
