 I've been told it's possible to photon FedSpace. I didn't thikn it was. True or not true?

Based on a previous thread I participated in, I was told this was not true. Nobody can photon FedSpace. Your reds can cloak there and unless the cloak fails, nobody will know that they are there.

You can't photon fedspace. It's probably a mis-understanding of the fedspace photon setting which controls photons being fired FROM fedspace.

Yup, you can photon Fedspace if you know how to get around it. Uncloaked a red at Stardock just today [:D]

Cuda, get a screen capture of what you did and we can see how it is possible. It may be a bug that needs to be fixed in future versions.

Ok, I've figured out how to do it. It's most definately a bug and I'm contacting John with info about it, hopefully it will be fixed soon

I would consider use of any sort of bug like that cheating, and were I sysop, probably ban players who used them. It's the sort of thing that can really destroy a game. I'd also like to point out that if you do it, you'll almost certainly be caught doing so.
