Someone told me this was a bug.....wtf? Is this gonna be addressed anytime soon?

First off we will need the sector numbers to help you out. [;)] shipboard IG's keep pods in sector, don't they? Was Moe's ship equippd with one?

IG's don't hold the pod after blowing up the ship. It is a bug if you had an escape sector. The discussions previous on this indicated that it exists in heavily figged games. I don't know the cause behind it personally, but it does exist.

Assuming there was no haz or mines in the flee sector then yes, it's the flee bug.
Pods don't flee back into bad sectors. Anyway, this is something that was brought
up when JP asked about bugfixes.

Alright, so that is what the flee bug is. Hey though maybe in addition to fixing the bug it could be changed into a configurable setting, Permit Pod escapes on IG: and Permit Pod escapes on PIG: I think that would be pretty cool as some might want that as option in their game and others may not.
