My local game (used for testing tactics and scripts), has TWO Ferrengal planets. The game is V3.11.55 Gold, 20K sectors, and two AI races, Ferrengi and Alien Traders. The Alien Traders have their own planet, but why are there now two Ferrengals? I have not captured or moved the original Ferrengal, the Ferrengi apparently started building the second Ferrengal on their own. The second Ferrengal has only a small number of colonists, only an L1 Citadel that is not being upgraded, but the planet seems to be actively used, as cash is being deposited in the Citadel. The original Ferrengal has a lot more colonists, is L4, and has a lot more cash. Is this second Ferrengal some new feature in the Gold edition?

The first Ferrengal is in a sector with the green Nebula saying "In the Ferrengi Empire". This is the original (Classic) Ferrengal, and it's a holdover from the original game. It doesn't get much stronger. The Ferrengal that is in the sector with the gold Nebula saying "Ferrengi Space" is Gold Ferrengal, it's the one that's defended and maintained by the Gold Ferrengi, and this one can get very strong, indeed.
