I'm not talking about anything specialized...made any new ships for your game that you think other people might like? Also, I'm not going to put this in the Sysop forum, since some unregistered users may make new ships themselves (although never use them in gameplay).

Here's my first, the "Merchant Marauder"...a Merchant vessel with increased offensive capabilities:

Ship Category #26 Ship Class : Merchant Marauder

The Merchant Marauder is often slyly referred to as the "Trading Pirate's Vessel", as it has a decent hold capacity, as well as increased offensive abilities. This ship is perfect for routing cargo through the more dangerous portions of the galaxy.

Basic Hold Cost: 10,000
Initial Holds: 20
Maximum Shields: 300
Main Drive Cost: 15,000
Max Fighters: 3,000
Offensive Odds: 1.1:1

Computer Cost: 20,300
Turns Per Warp: 2
Defensive Odds: 0.9:1

Ship Hull Cost: 10,000
Mine Max: 40
Beacon Max: 100

Ship Base Cost: 55,300
Genesis Max: 2
Long Range Scan: Yes

Max Figs Per Attack: 1500
TransWarp Drive: No
Planet Scanner: Yes

Maximum Holds: 60
Transport Range: 3
Photon Missiles: Yes

I also made an "Escape RamJet"...which is an improved Escape Pod that moves slightly faster than a normal one, and is only available on select ships:

Ship Class : ** Escape RamJet **

The Escape Ram Jet is a slighty faster version of the Escape Pod.

Basic Hold Cost: 500
Initial Holds: 1
Maximum Shields: 100

Main Drive Cost: 4,350
Max Fighters: 100
Offensive Odds: 0.5:1

Computer Cost: 4,700
Turns Per Warp: 3
Defensive Odds: 0.9:1

Ship Hull Cost: 5,000
Mine Max: 0
Beacon Max: 0

Ship Base Cost: 14,550
Genesis Max: 0
Long Range Scan: Yes

Max Figs Per Attack: 50
TransWarp Drive: No
Planet Scanner: No

Maximum Holds: 2
Transport Range: 1
Photon Missiles: No

How about an Evil ISS...a ship that has identical characteristics as the ISS....u can maybe change something such as have it have a lower max fig per attack, but keep everything the same. Also make it available to only neg alignment players.

Unfortunately there is currently no way to restrict ships to negative alignment players. A GameOp can only set a ship to be restricted to commissioned players and players of a specific experience or higher.

Would be nice, though, as I sorely miss my Evil ISS.

In my opinion this would severly disrupt game balance. Evils get to make more money, but the price they (should) pay is that they get worse ships.

I've always liked the idea of a CEO planet defender. A ship better than a Tholian Sentinel that gets the planet-defense bonus, but each Corp can only buy 1 (CEO-only). Unfortunately, I failed to convince my fellow game-op that this is a good idea for the game we are setting up (coming soon!!!)

This statement is somewhat misleading. A ship can only be restricted by experience if it also requires a commision.
