I wish I had the cap, but it was so quick that all I saw was the menu. I am going to make myself look awful dumb here, but I respectfully ask for help anyways.

I photoned a enemy sector (7 LV 6 Planets) and moved in, only to get a large dose of #@$^@! and podded. From there navhaz got me (moot point).
I used a script to do this, and photon wave is 7 seconds.
Meanwhile the annoyances I am playing against have been easily able to come into our home and deploy a couple of planets right before extern. What am I doing wrong?

Well for starters, if they truly are LVL 6's and have a min of 200 sheilds, then your Photon won't help you at all. You ate those cannons because they have sheilds.
Now, there is some info missing. How many players are you corping with? and do you have resources to moth? (ugghhh, i shrug at the thought of mothing 7 fully loaded LVL 6's)
Outside of that what kind of planets are they and what are the max ORE for those edits.
Some more info would certainly help

Gotcha both. Thanks :)

FYI: Its an unlimited game with lots of edits. The planets are most likely the edit paradise of 1 1 1 1 ratios on production, and a max ore of 7.5M.
I have a corp of two, versus a corp of two. The annoyances do pretty good with this, by having the navhaz right outside the sector. Any other ideas on how to battle this, which will be good to know since thats what I have on my homes (just fortied all the planets with shields tonight). I'm not normally the attacker, but I was up to no good.

well first is omfg.. heh thats a lot of ****ing ore to moth. to defeat them, the determining factor will be the skill level of the "annoyances" if they are even half decent players, you pretty much will not get into their sectors with a 2-3 man corp. you also said they are getting into your sector and deploying planets in your home base. here is what you should do IMO
#1 MOVE YOUR BASE!
#2 get defenses UP
#3 GRID
#4 DEFEND grid
#5 get more corpies, heh
#6 cash and colo as much as possible, you are going to need MASS resources to take a 7planet door with 7.5m ore on each planet. figs probably wont be as bad as i assume ships are edited with crazy odds too. if your colonists arent on the best planets they can be, move them. there is alot of other stuff too but mostly they are dependant on edits. if you want more advice, hit me up on icq, ill go check edits and try to help you out :)

Before you moth, secure your staging location. That is, put planets with a hard enough cannon punch to keep someone from surviving them, then create planet in the sector to clear the haz. Finally, make sure all the enemy mines/limpets are cleared out of the staging sector. After that, you can work on mothing the enemy, invading, whatever else.

Also, take a peek at my website. There is an article on finding and invading bases there in the strategy section. (Written by Kemper3)
