I'm just wondering why most guides suggest SSM early on in the game as opposed to RMR. Specifically with the MBBS settings where you have a 21 rob factor and a 6 steal factor. To steal 250 holds for a colt you need 5250 exp.
With that amount of exp you can rob 31500 credits (theoretically) and 250 holds of EQ sells for only marginally more. When robbing you don't have the cost of the colt and since you don't have to port to trade, you save turns. So why SSM as opposed to RMR? Does it have to do with frequency of busts or is there something I'm missing (bad math)?
