I thought you could collide alien homeworlds, but maybe that's only Ferrengal. Maybe that was an older version too. I'd have to test.


I have not been able to collide Alien worlds in the new version of TradeWars. I did try the tw2002v2b7 off my BBS and did not manage to collide alien worlds.

When you talk about colliding planets , don't just go over limit by 2 or 3 .. try 20 to 30 planets .. you will get a better percentage of chance of collision that way.

Vid, up to a point.
I find 5-8 extra planets to be about right. More than that, and while you just about bet that there will be a collision, you reduce the odds that the particular planet you want collides. With planet ping pong, it's all about the odds.

If you have 20 planets, while there is about a 100% chance of collision, there is only a 10% chance that the planet you want will collide. With 10 planets there may be only a 95% chance of collision, but a 20% chance that you will get the right one.
