I am in a game where there are several large bubbles. I am talking 140 or more sectors.

Is it worth the effort to attempt to try and make these private sectors?

I placed some mines in the corridor (4 long) that leads into the bubble, but this morning it was mostly cleared by alien traders. Is there a way to stop them from running over my mines? Will placing fighters there as well stop them?
