First I have to say that I've been out of TW for 5 years, so I have no clue about these new "Gold" games.

I've been logging into games that have just rebanged for the past week to try to get back into the game and blow some of the dust and cobwebs off the console. I have been surprised to find Sheilded planets in games on their first day, and people running around with 50K figs on day one or two. I'm just curious as to how this is possible as I didn't start off with a ClassX planet when I entered the game. Some of these games are very high turns or even unlimited turns so I can understand how the fighters could have been earned after a reasonable amount of time but they seem to show up extreemly fast on these ships just an hour our two into the game.

Are there sheilded planets set out on day one in these Gold games as a regular setting? Or are these just extreem games that I happened to have found.

Maybe I've just lost more of the TW skills than I thought I had.
