John, Additional information (sync issues) similar to that photon issue where the opposing team dropped when I was photoned and also dropped/killed. As you will see in the logs below and after confirmation from my corpies. The progression went, I pgridded in and landed on the wrong planet (delay in saveme issue). One corpie was at keys other was on saveme and AFK. Both were dropped at the same time after the corpie at keys tried to use the saveme bot as bait. Code: <Move> To which Sector ? 2548 Quasar Blast! Yeah, for sure. I am seconding that. I dropped too. I just happened to get back in faster. This version is so fulla bugs its worse then the old one.(1.03) Instead of fixing what was wrong with the old on, he seems to have made more in the new one. I think too much was changed. But, that's just my opinion. Seems like every time we get in real combat we drop the game. It REALLY SUCKS! TV |

Are you still experiencing these issues on the beta server, tv? I haven't had a lot of reports since you guys started testing there. Thanks for helping out, btw. I'm just not getting a lot of reports of issues in general. Players like you just stress the game beyond typical levels, which is good if I can learn from the problems you uncover. |

I think the answer is obvious. Let's just break everything in the game so the only way you can get in is via regular telnet. Lets make swath not work. Lets make mombot not work. Anything that can be scripted, lets scrap it. Go back to oldschool like this was intended. Lol. Thats just my opinion. Why keep crying over the same old issues when you wouldnt have any issues if you played the game like it was supposed to be played. AFK this, AFK that are you really kidding me??? Next thing ya know they'll be writing bots to takeover universes and the only thing you have to program in is the IP of the server and the game letter. 24 hrs later you come back and everyone else is dead. That's where this is really headed. Its not a game anymore, its a lockdown in progress. |

It might be the only way to get some people to realize that botting is a bad thing and game-enforced pacing, delays, and cooldowns are essential to the game remaining playable. |

I for one would challenge you to that task .. you make a single player robotic player against me & my corp .. I would bet , in a turn based game You (it) could not rule the game. The main reason is that your robotic script could not out think my multi brained corp in this multifaceted game. Bots have gotten a bad rep from those who do not understand the word bot They tend to think bot = robot , where in tradewars a bot is a large script that contains many functions from other scripts and has hand shaking / communications with others in the game. Saveme and Call_Saveme (scripts) used together to drive a planet around is just a basic bot .. but no one even considers that a bot. Bots do not play the entire game by themselves. They are tools .. a massive compilation of scripts in one lump , controlled by humans. Human controlled .. not robots. Build a robot script and I'll play against it in a turn based game .. Vid |

This is off topic a little but since it is going that way what the heck. The only issue I have with a bot is a player logs in and sets it up and then is gone never to be heard from again "unless" the bot locks up or needs attention. To me this falls more in a way to circumvent the dupe rule. I have no issue with using someone elses turns if need be to get certain jobs done as long as when needed they actually know what game they are playing Neither are a "robot" since without someone starting something in the background it would just sit and relog if dropped, if someone remembered to type "botname relog on" But back on topic I have not seen any of these mentioned items since the latest version was released. |

Ok , I'm am sorry for taking this off topic. I should know better. Anyways , the issue with being dropped and corp killed off is happening due to a few problems in the mom bot. I come to conclusion when I asked a dozen questions to another player with this very thing happening to him and his corp. Now when he is using zed bot , this does not happen to him. Same scenario , different bot. Which I believe points to a bot issue. Just my take , try another bot and prove this theory wrong. |

I quit shortly after this post, but it wasn't mombot, it was a macro created specifically for this event. I.e. no script. |

True story. When it was a few of us playing. There was a combination of defensive scripts running against Kaus. But on his end it was only a macro if I remember correctly. So it was zip, TV, and I all running defensive photon scripts as Kaus tried to photon in to our main sector. |
