 Blowing up planets and aliens

Ok this is long but to make long story short, was screwing around capping aliens and made the planet blah blah blah. but decided to blow the planet after the ascian had landed, then waited in the name the planet prompt and it said alien ship blasts off "new Planet" dunno if its a bug but id have thought the aliens would die to... meh kinda cool though

Just looks like bounds checking. You hadn't named the planet, but a blank planet might screw something up... so the game just gives any unnamed planets a default name of "New Planet" ...

There are a handful of defaults like that thru the game.

"New Player" is one of those before the new player puts the alias in - and they show up as in pod.

Yeah but i guess i just figured the alien would blow up when i blew the planet. Seems kinda odd that it wouldnt.
