The old style forum allowed for 47 characters to be placed in the subject line. The new forum only allows 41 characters. I'm finding it difficult to accurately describe my game announcements in only 41 characters. Would it be possible to increase the Subject Line Size to 50 characters or more. Also, I noticed that the quick login is difficult to see because the letters are so light colored. Thanks Sage |

Why not just use the game edits name to post as the topic like the other Admin do? Then place all the specifics inside of your actual post. People that are interested are already familiar with the edits anyways; people that are not, don’t usually care to start at a group of topics blocked together with a paragraph of information all jumbled together, at any rate for those people that do, well they are most likely to mesmerized by crossword puzzles to even bother logging into the Internet just to check things out here at EIS. |

I will leave it for now. When jumpgate is active, all new games will automatically be posted and added to the calendar so you can view the calendar and see upcoming games or newly started games easily. earth. |

How does jumpgate know of upcoming games? I saw the "not yet open" on StarDock also and have been curious about that. It would appear that advertising a game would still be necessary for opening date/time. I know in non-truce unlims, and some turn games, if you aren't there at the bang, you might as well not even log into it. |

Hmmm I guess those of us SysOp's that don't upgrade will get left behind. I'm not totally sure if I was going to use Jumpgate option because I also host the TradeWars Academy OCS server, and I was not sure if there was a point on listing that server. |

You can upgrade the regular server if you want, and leave the Academy server as is. Just a thought. |
