Dunno if this is the right place, as it's not specifically TW related but I just found TWGS and started playing again to scratch my nostalgia itch, lol. I was using Putty, and God that sucked. Not very good ANSI support.

I tried a few clients, I liked SyncTERM. I like that I can drag the window and scale it up, several of the clients I tried didn't do that. However, unlike in paint programs I cannot hold SHIFT and drag to preserve the aspect ratio so I kept ending up with slightly egg shaped planets lol.

I like puttering around with C# so I wrote a program that will let you drag a slider to resize the SyncTERM window whilst preserving aspect ratio. It monitors process starts, so you can just leave it chilling in the notification area and whenever you open ST, it will automatically scale it to your desired size and move it wherever you set. To use it, just download the zip and extract the executable. Run it, and the dialog will open with a slider. Open SyncTERM, then go back to SST and slide the slider until its at the size you want. Drag the term window wherever you want it after sizing, then go back to SST and hit Config, Store window position. That's all it needs to do its job.

You can optionally configure it to hide automatically in the tray, close to tray when you hit X instead of exiting and minimize to tray so as not to clutter the taskbar.

If you're like me and paranoid, you may wonder why it triggers UAC when you run it. The WMI process watcher is what needs that access. I'll provide the C# solution folder so if you want you can see the code / compile it to ensure it's not malicious.

So yea... just figured I'd throw this out there in case any other SyncTERM fans have a use for it.

Putty has great ANSI support, if you change the encoding to CP437.
