I did the same thing for VSCODE:
Subject: Looking for an IDE for TWX Proxy script?

Notepad++ is lightweight and very popular though... Good Work!

I set yours up to try out, though am currently not familiar with VS.

I'm also trying to work on setting up an online TWX Proxy searchable reference and scripting editor, so save, edit, and view scripts online.

VSCODE is NOT in any way related to Visual Studio. i have no idea why they tagged that into the name :/

VS is a highly complex IDE for developing Windows applications (and everything else)...

VSCODE is a lightweight / cross platform Text Editor, that as far as I know can't actually create a windows application. I am not even sure it deserves to be called an IDE.

This highlighter has been updated for use with Notepad++ It should include all the new commands now and applied a few modifications for improved usability:

Does this work better than Micro's editor?

I need to find that again.

Edit! I had opened several new posts, went back to my new posts tab, saw this one again, opened it again to make sure I already read it, and saw Micro's post about his editor! :D

For the record, I'll just say that TWXIDE still works great for me. Also, for those unfamiliar, it is a custom open source TWX script IDE that has a few TWX specific functions, and it includes the (old) script.html command syntax right in the interface, as well as a list of all $Variables and :Goto labels used in the script that you are editing, with the ability to jump to any of them with a double-click.

I hope you try it and enjoy the way I write (wrote) TWX scripts.
