Unread post Announcing TWX Proxy 3.0.1 / MTC 1.1 / M()MBot 5.0.1
Greetings everyone,

I am pleased to announce the latest update to the TWX proxy core and the Mayhem Tradewars Client. For those not already familiar with this new release, it is a complete rewrite of TWX Proxy in C#, that includes the core proxy libraries, a basic standalone proxy for those using 3rd party helpers like Zoc/Swath, and a new helper called Mayhem Tradewars Client or MTC. I announced the initial release a few months ago on Discord and reddit, but was unable to post here along with everyone else.

MTC is a standalone helper that includes the proxy but also provides game/connection management, a full ANSI terminal, and many other features, including most/all of what Swath does. And it runs on all modern operating systems natively - it is available for Windows, MacOS, and Linux, and will run on anything else that C#/.NET compiles on. This product is fully open-source and available in github, which is my way of giving something back to the community. I believe that all of Tradewars should be open and belong to the community at this point, and will continue to push for that.

The full TWX30 installer packages are available at https://sourceforge.net/projects/twx30/files/ and the TWX30 source code is available at https://github.com/TW2002/twxp

In addition to the proxy updates, I am also please to announce the release of M()mbot 5.0.1, which adds a huge number of bug fixes and enhancements and is the latest stable version. M()mbot is included in the TWX30 installer package but is also available standalone (including the full source code to the scripts) at https://github.com/TW2002/mombot/tree/master/mombot5.0

If you have any questions or feeback, you can reach me on my Discord server, Rogue Tradewars, where all new builds and beta versions of the Tradewars helper suite are posted. You can also contact me directly through here.

Here are some screenshots from the latest version, in use in actual games. Enjoy.

Wow. Based on those images, it appears you've really taken things to another level; this could add a much-needed spark Tradewars desperately needs.

Bravo.

Thank you, old friend. Glad to see you are still out there! It is certainly my hope to see the interest in this game continue as long as possible, and hopefully to bring back some players that were limited by the lack of functional software.

Shadow, it looks like you put a lot of hard work into this project, and it shows.

Good job!

:D
