I now have my TradeWars games back online at bbs.r2lotw.com (telnet). I'd like to know what needs to happen in order to hold an 'official tournament' and what is involved. Welcome Patch! Host it and they will come... if they like your settings. We have a few annual tournaments mostly hosted by Micro or Star Killer now. I'm sure the would welcome another host so they may both play in the same game at the same time. If you have specific questions about settings, let us know. But, I think many of the tournaments are near stock. The only one that's widely edited is the HHT. Space Ghost used to create a new edit each year, but since he's passed we've been playing his last edit every year. I think this year however Star Killer found one of his edits in this forum, one we haven't seen since it was first played in the early 20's I think. Dunno, it will be fun, and that one always runs on or near Halloween. |
