TWGS server is online and ready for new players at http://www.thenexusbbs.com/tw2002/ or point your TW2002 clients to bbs.thenexusbbs.com PORT 2002 for the server.

GAME C REBANG "Ceti Alpha V" on Dec 8th! 30,000 sectors, 250 turns per day.

If you'd like to run a universe or game yourself, we would love to host you as well. We have a fully functional 25 game/100 user server.

If I could get added to the sysops list so I can post these announcements in the right forum, it would be appreciated!

I used to be on The Nexus BBS a lot before it went down a few years ago, mostly playing Galactic Empire - good BBS.

Have you been able to get GE going again after the recent crash a few months ago? Yours was really the only place left to play it : )

Also, you should see about getting your account here changed to GameOp so you can post in the Game Rebangs forum.

Yeah, i've emailed several times about getting a class change on here but my mails must be going into a black hole. I'm sure someone will eventually respond and take action.. i'm in no hurry.

Also the original BBS is back online - i'm about to make a webpage for it, but it is accessible right now at port 2323 - only the classic MBBS games and DOOR games as before - i've literally moved the MajorMUD onto it's own server which is on the default telnet port 23.

Galactic Empire and all the old MBBS games are back online!
