Big D, Kewlbreeze & Cruncher - Take it elsewhere, I will not play baby sitter to your rants. I deleted the posts to clean it up, put it in a more appropriate place but not in this the section I mod. Tournament Talk ONLY.

As I stated earlier - He/She started it will not fly.

I didn't want anyone to think I was smacking in the Tournament thread. I was on topic and invited him out of retirement. That's all, no drama.

Please. If you had stuck to the topic your messages would still be there.

Your invitation didn't have anything to do with a tournament, and could have been posted in corporate classifieds or open discussion but it was not needed in the tournament thread. I have no problem with you making your complaint public, but you should just report the problem straight to Mob and that would create ZERO drama. Part of your post was tournie related the other wasn't and while playing babysitter I removed or edited anything "I" felt was not tournament related. - nothing personal and no drama I had complaints being filed from 3 individuals so I did my job. It is to easy for people to get caught up in the actions of others and post inappropriate statements in the wrong area. I started to post one myself yesterday and evaluated it would just create more drama, so I stopped myself.

I try and leave a lot of room for the players in the tournament to post comments and some minor smack if they are in the tournament but when it starts drawing in players that aren't I have to put a stop to it. If I had more control to block some people from threads then it would be easier to control, but that is not the case. So delete and edit are my 2 preferred choices as I typically don't want to move items to the appropriate area since we can all read and know what is right and wrong.

Oh and to be clear the warning I gave had nothing to do with you asking if I was coming out of retirement, it was 6 or 7 other posts I completely deleted and had "ZERO" content about the tournament.

Congrats Flying Aces for a decisive win. It probably goes without saying but I think that the Flying Aces should be considered the best all time Perma-Corp, especially since Ground Zero doesn't compete anymore

I hope that the Servers performance met with everyones expectation and i hoped that the game lasted longer to get a performance indicator. Perhaps the 5k sectors should be upped a bit. I'm hoping to find the time to participate in the next Tournament!

Ground Zero is NOT retired. Ground Zero is STILL undefeated. Ground Zero has beaten Flying Aces in every game they have played against them. Ground Zero has invited Flying Aces to play a stock game, 5 man BYOC, on a v1 server and KB has declined to accept. So no, I don't beleive that Flying Aces are even any where close to the best corp.
As far as the 5k sectors in a tourmament, the idea was strictly brought on by Helix because he doesn't know how to datamine. GZ had no problem finding the enemy in a 10k or 20k sector universe even when other corps did try to turtle.

BTW, this is the post that Toyman deleted although the original quote remains. Heavy handed isn't a problem as long as it's not biased. Helix and KB's posts remain in that forum and are completely full of smack talk.

Yet YOU have never beaten Ground Zero in ANY game, in ANY edit. I'll give you the same invitation although you aren't worthy of it.

1) Stock game or tournament worthy edit (similar to ICE or Original Pirates)
2) 1500 turns, 10k sectors
3) 5 man corps
4) V1 server (reputable sysop)
5) Exact edit must be released at least 2 weeks in advance of start date.

Let's hear the double talk and excuses now.

I deleted ALL posts that I felt were not related to the tournament, and that included a couple from Cruncher and Kewlbreeze.
Plus you have stated you would never come back and post here as long as Mob was Admin and Helix was still active. Take a stand and stick to it for once.

There's a post in that forum where KB is smacking a new player around. That doesn't really seem appropriate to me. As far as my being here, Mob appologized to me and invited me back. You, on the other hand, seem to be trying to drive people away from this forum. Not appropriate behavior for a mod.

I allow mild smack from participating players in the current tournament, the other player did not file an complaint so it stays. I am trying to mod the tournament forum to allow people a less than hostile environment. But feel free if you don't like it to stay out of my area......or play in a tournament :-)
Plus as always if you don't like it report it to the Admin or JP.

No one who did what you did to Tweety gets to set terms. You are welcome to play on our terms or even in B.O.T.E. (if you can find a sponsoring sysop) or you can just stay home.

I don't think you want to go there Helix. What I did to Tweety was tell him the truth about you telling a total fabricated LIE. Only the simple minded would believe your lies. You edit a log file and post it as your proof is the whole story here. If you are too scared to accept our challenge, then just say so. As far a BOTE, that edit isn't even close to the normal BOTE edits that have been used in the past. We willl decline to play a MOO2 style edit.
Now, if you have anything usefull to say, please post away, but leave the smack talk out of it.
