I personally enjoyed making tournament edits. Made several in fact, but never a big fan of posting the .twa file. Discovering how to play it is half the fun.

Discovering how to play it would be fine if everyone found out at the same time. I unfortunatley wouldn't trust Cruncher to keep it out of the hands of a few select buddies of hers. So the safest way is exactly the way we have been doing it, and that's to let everyone see it in advance. It's the ONLY fair way to do it, and it causes much less controversy.

Big D, You sure got trust issues. Hell, you don't even trust the guy that you look at in the mirror.

Yeah, I think that's exactly the point. Whatever underhanded thing he may be up to, he just assumes everyone else will do the same.

And honestly, it won't break my heart if he does not play my server.

Actually, I would trust several sysops. The reverend, River Rat, Vulcan, and Stonewall, are several sysops that I can think of that are above reproach. You, on the other hand, have been envolved in too many shady occurances throughout the history of this game. These old tournaments you speak of ALL had thier problems and controversies, mainly because they weren't set up correctly. I can't blame the sysops, but we have discovered the areas that are vulnerable to players like you and we have compensated for our mistakes. Now you want put those vulnerable areas back in? I don't think so.
Also I have to tell you that you have nothing to worry about concerning your misconception that I might come to your server and play a tournament.

If anyone wishes to follow this conversation, I've moved it to the smack forum.

I have known Cruncher casually for many years in TW. Until very recently, we were always on opposing Corps. Way back when, it was never a personal thing to be opposed. We considered it to be a game, as is proper. I corped with her a couple times since her return.

She was always honourable in her playing and I do not believe that she would be other than so as a gameop.

Thank you Kav. I'll work on something over the Christmas break and I'll announce it as soon as it's ready. I'll give people a week or two to gather a team before the game opens.

Maybe I'll bring back a few ghosts from the past to post in this thread just to show you that you don't know the whole story about this person that you "casually" know. I'll see if I can hook up with them on ICQ.

Wow... the sexual tension betwwen Big D and Cruncher is so thick in here
you could cut it with a knife. They act like second graders.... you'd think they realy hate each other but in truth they want each other in the worst way.
And by the way.... Big D do you and Cruncher argue like this when you play
candyland together?

I don't normally play candyland, but Cruncher plays version 2 all the time.

I second Kav's statement. Even though Cruncher and I have had our own differences, I have no reason not to trust her.

Please do so. I have known her for close to 17 years, and never heard of her doing anything dishonourable, in this game or anywhere, for that matter.

It's good that you think so highly of Cruncher then, because she's looking for new players to join her team in a couple of tournaments. You seem to be "exactly" what she's looking for, the type player who doesn't know much and who won't question her unorthodox methods.

It is improper, to say the least, to make an accusation twice without a shred of evidence, most particularly having implied in the first denunciation that evidentiary persons would back up the claim.

Which they have yet to do.

Kavanagh.
