Swath setup
file
game name (any name will do)
hostname/ip 127.0.0.1
port # from 24 to 99 ie 28
sectors in game ie 20000
hit ok
Go to swath edit
pref/network click on circle
click use telnet proxy 127.0.0.1 and port 28
hit ok
make a micro in swath right arrow macro is ^(1e)
make a trigger in swath--hit the little bell---
-hit right arrow key in event box
drop down and in action circle send macro and scroll
drow til you find right arrow

now hitting the right arrow key and then the ~ key will put you in to preferences page of mombot

Everything else should be done the right way as I have described in another post.
And the Path should be :
C:twx_Proxy for the twx stuff
and
C:Programs files/Swath1.98 for the Swath stuff
as well as :
C:Zoc for any Zoc files you may have.

The proxy setting you had described is for external proxying
in the fashion you may use to hide an IP , beyond the scope of this
thread.
You should stick to only use the settings in game options.

I wrote a paper on the right way to connect Swath and TWX.
You will only need to get the right TWX for your OS.

Here, I removed all the other directories/files to make it small enough to upload since all you really need is the exe.

The source isn't available at grimys as far as I can tell.

So where is it? Source must be available to anyone who has the binary. That's a stipulation of the license.

Last I knew and from doing a little searching on the forum, EP is the keeper of the code. You'll have to ask him where it is. The only version I found on the web is 2.04.

replaced my exe file and now im getting this error and it shuts off

Exception EOutOfMemory in module TWXProxy.exe at 000057F1

Rename TWXSetup.dat in the TWX directory, it will create a new one when you start TWXProxy.exe. This has happened to a bunch of people when the new version started coming out a couple years ago.
