Forum rules
1. Each thread must begin with the Tournament Name, date expected to open, host server information, and rules if this information is available.
2. After the tournament officially opens, we will then open the thread to general discussion of the tournament.
3. There will be one thread here per tournament.
4. Members not in the game are allowed to comment on the game, however if this results in arguments that get personal the member NOT playing will be banned from the thread. This can be a temporary or permanent ban.
5. Posts viewed by the admin/moderators of this site as being out of line with the intent of this thread, can be moved or deleted at the moderators discretion.
6. Continued violations of the rules of this thread can result in the temporary or in extreme cases a permanent ban from this thread.

Yes, it sort of sucks that in a recent BOTE tournament that the sysop didn't have a plan set up to determine a winner, because GZ had the most kills and captured planets by a long shot. That's what happens when you don't turtle, you get kills and you capture enemy planets. |

Re: Big Game 2013 The server is having a lot of issues today. Not sure what the issue is. I have a feeling that the onboard NIC maybe going out. If that is the case I will purchase a new one tomorrow and get it installed Sat.
I am going to "plan" on the server being down Sat morning from about 9am PST to about 1pm PST. I will post here if I determine that I do not need to bring down the server. I will also get a death count up tomorrow too. The server is normally pretty stable and I apologize for the 2 drops today. I've been actively passive gridding nearly every day. Sorry for my late responses....KB had one of the worst pings on our team...Passive gridding is fine, but won't win the game... Xanos has a great pgrid script, but we can still hit it on occassion, and no one to my knowlege has ptorped us while pgidding. _________________

In any case you don't have the deaths to invade. I also said we ARE going to turtle now too! FYI ping didn't matter in this one.. the Delay that is set does. Then when we own 99.9% of the grid and the majority of the assets, then what? When, (if) you get to that point, then we can discuss what next. Good luck with that. _________________
