As I started in a previous thread I have been working hard at updating the BOT. This release fixes a ton of issues and there are still more to be fixed. It will be released in .cts version only as I had previously mentioned. It will eventually be released in .ts form again but not until I finish the re-write of the bot. Here is a the bot summary log

#BH 02-17-12 - Cleaned up the HKILL command.
#BH 01-25-12 - Fixed lingering issue with Qset
#BH 01-13-12 - Revised HKILL code a little to use current BOT code instead of standalone code.
#BH 01-13-12 - Fixed issue where attempting to clear sector with no mines would leave you in sector if starting from Cit
#BH 01-12-12 - Fixed issue where Xporting without turns would not display over ss until next command.
#BH 01-12-12 - Added options to surround before hkill and to turn off busted/msl prompts
#BH 01-12-12 - Fixed Bug where pgrid would hang if enemy cannon and mines were in target sector.
#BH 01-12-12 - Fixed issuer where MEGA, ROB, XPORT, and HOLO would hang if no turns left
#BH 01-12-12 - Exit Enter now reloads figs before exit.
#BH 12-20-11 - Removed all command. No longer needed due to team callin. Fixed issue with TOW.
#BH 12-18-11 - Added a corp command to Join/leave corp
#BH 12-17-11 - Fixed issue where BOT was not capturing StarDock on script startup.
#BH 12-12-11 - Fixes due to Public Release many changes made by multiple people.
#MD 10-24-07 - Made pxex type commands more efficient and they now output quasar damage is not using speed variable. ex. >pxex 122 12 speed
#MD 10-25-07 - Made pgrid more efficient code and made pxex output show pods.
#LS 10-26-07 - Moved entire startup routines to bottom of file, moving everything else closer to top (MD's idea)
#LS 10-26-07 - Fixed auto login section, password/name/game variables were not being loadvar properly --close to new bot-game file creation.
#MD 10-28-07 - Fixed qset to work from planet or citadel prompt.
#LS 12-10-07 - Fixed auto Login (new game), some basic bounds checking and such.

I am sure there are still more fixes and tweaks. I think I addressed everything that people brought to my attention. I did see something about a mow issues but need clarification on that. Let me know if you run into any issues.

Hi Bounty Hunter, I'm getting the following error when I try to start mombot 3.1045



Did I put it in the wrong place or is it another issue?

For some reason I got that when I tried to start mombot from a hot-button in SWATH. When I started it through TWX it worked. So when I added the script to the macro it was for mombot 1045 where I downloaded it, right in the scripts directory, but by the time I put it on the hot button, it had been moved to the mombot folder - so SWATH was looking for a script no longer where it thought it was. Also, I hadn't used the SWATH 'reload scripts' command to refresh my script list with SWATH. When I corrected those 2 mistakes it loaded fine from the SWATH hot-button. Sorry for the false alarm

I have a feature request for mombot. Can we get a menu option to change what key or key combination activates the mombot cmd line?

That has been a request in the past and will be implemented. I have a small team trying to do a re-write now but time is limited. But keep your eyes peeled.

Any new updates yet?

Well, not really. I put together a team to rebuild the bot but life happened. I have done a few things here and there to the bot but nothing major. One of these days I will get working on it again.

Is there a decent mombot guide out there for getting started with it? I have used it before but I would like to link my new corpie with some documentation.

No guide, but it has a built in help system.

Personally, I'm checking out Z-Bot by Archie. Z-Bot is part of the Zed-Pack, and it is currently under active development. A new version should be released very soon.
