 SW byoc/draft Tournament
Silver Wings will be hosting a tournament called "Dog Daze" starting on Friday, July 17th at 9pm est. The edit will be the same edit used for the EIS Invitational tournament, but with the following settings.
12000 sectors 1000 turns (3 day turn bank) 8 player corp maximum (must have at least 3 players per corp to enter) Gold (with mbbs settings) No delays & max commands/cycle Unlimited time 30 death limit 1 day to enter game (actually 27 hours) Extern runs at midnight server time
Rules: No buy-outs of any kind. No duping or account switching once the accounts have been created. (You lose a player, you're down a player. Simple) No Mega-corping. (This means no hard asset sharing. No rule against information sharing)
Winners will be determined when 1 corp is remaining or 60 days, whichever comes 1st.
If the game last 60 days, a point system will be used to determine the winner. The point system will be determined by amount of assets with the following scale.
1000 points for each 1 million fighters on planets. (Rounded off the the lowest million) Points for cash in citadels will be calculated by price of fighters at games end. 1000 points for each shielded planet owned by your corp at the end of the game. 1000 additional points if planet was created by another corp, in the daily logs as shields destroyed and invaded, and still owned at the end of the game. Note: Planets captured from corporations with less than the 3 player minimum will not count as captured. You may sign up for this game by replying to this thread.
A warm up game will be provided as a test game and to see the edits on the Saturday before the tournament starts.
Teams are as follows:
1 -- Corp name = (belong to Corp #1) Team = (Kewlbreeze, Father Cajone, Master, Muss, Zep, Saarducci) 2 -- Corp name = (Big Dogz) Team = (Desert Fox, Spider, Big D, Filthy Maggot, Convict, Space Ghost)
Teams will be updated as players commit to play. We may increase corp size if both teams can get enough players.

 Re: SW byoc/lotto tournament
Draft is done and still a man short on the draft team. Deadline has passed, but each team can still pick up new players or subsitute other players for a player unable to play up until game time. Also new corps can still sign up until the 16th at 9pm EST.

 Re: SW byoc/draft Tournament
Alrighty then. Looks like we have 3 corps, each with a few veterans and a few newer players. Should be a good game. As you can see team 2 and team 3 are each short a player, so each will need to pick up one more player to fill out the roster, although it's not a requirement to have 6 players. Anyone interested in playing with one of these 2 corps, post to this thread. Also, team 3 will need to designate a CEO. Any volunteers?
A practice game will be banged at 8pm EST tonight using the same IP as listed in the the thread above. Same game letter.

 Re: SW byoc/draft Tournament
I'm on the fence about whether to toss my hat in the ring or not. I'm a long time player, just returning.
Honestly, TW is a hobby now, not a devoted, "KILL EVERYTHING!!!". I'm not sure how much time I'll be able to devote to it. I have the regular 8-5 job, so I'll probably be able to play weekends and nights.
If that's ok with the elected CEO for the corp, toss my hat in the ring. I'm the base builder type if that fits your needs, too.
