Abandoned ships

Mad Marauder Lance Corporal Joined: Fri May 26, 2006 2:00 am Posts: 3 Location: Canada	I found a fully loaded abandoned corporate flagship, how do I claim it. I tried hitting it with one fig, nothing. I have no idea what to try.

If its fully loaded (stock) don't bother your arse. Would cost more to cap than the resale value, by far. If, on the other hand, you have a grudge against the owner and want it no matter what: The CFS will defend at 1.2 odds (unless edited). If u are in a 1:1 odd ship, it will cost you 1200 figs to get the cfs down by 1000 figs. Random factor, might be up to 5% off, extremis

Traitor Lieutenant Commander Joined: Thu Mar 21, 2002 3:00 am Posts: 890 Location: USA	Kav, if the ship is unmanned, it will defend at 1/2 it's value. My advice is if it's loaded, hit it for about 1000 figs, so it'll strip off the shields. then send a bunch of macro's of progressivly smaller waves until you cap it. If you don't send more than 25% of it's remaining figs in a single wave at it, you proably won't blow it up. At least once a month I make a resolution not to post whilst intoxicated. Unfortunately, I get smarter as the beers go by, resolve weakens and the inevitable brain fart results
