Yea it does, but if anyone was on the planet when the torp happened they won't be
able to use the bwarp. Either out of turns or disabled for a time (turns or unlim).

Rexxcrow:

I offer no offense to you; your attempt to compile a TW glossary is laudable.

I suggest, however, that you confine it to such and not add information about the results of game interactions. Many of your observations as to them were instance and game setting specific and would likely confuse new players, when unduplicatable.

Again without offense: It appears to me that you might benefit from playing a bit more.

Kav.

Thanks Kav, though I feel I am keeping the examples moderately descriptive and explanatory without going into a detailing of “the preferred method”, taking into consideration only the variations of the meaning, such as: notable changes in turn limited vs. unlimited, process involved, etc. As well I have been attempting to describe the rules involved such as: required alignment, penalties, how certain functions work, conversion formulas, etc.

Honestly, between working on this project and my GameOp Workbook I have learned 10-fold, then I have in all my time actually playing TW. Granted most of what I have learned I still have to resolve to actual game play, but it is good to know this information. Additionally, this venture has permitted me to experiment with things on my own, which have resulted in figuring out a few formulas all on my own, all in all I know that is pretty basic, but for someone that believes math is the evil reincarnation of the Apocalypse, it is quite the achievement! I feel something like this is truly needed, a sort of compendium of information that is organized both in it’s context and format, for those interested to use as they wish.

In part with the game, it’s overall complexity, combined with the lack of available information and guidance, is it not reasonable to consider this is exactly why players get easily frustrated, confused, and eventually need a break from the game. Additionally, I think the experienced players get burned out and jaded from always having to explain things they consider to be very basic or common knowledge to the new and returning players, thus they also eventually require a break away from the game or suffer from a temporary loss of interest in the game, (so they decide it would be a good idea to leave and go play that WOW for a few months, until they start Jonesing for TW... but that is a story for another day! [:)]) I am certain that all players, whether being new, returning, or vastly experienced could put to use the finished product, I have been envisioning.
