Greetings Programs... MicroBlaster network is proud to present Summer Splash 2019.

I know most of you are too busy to play TradeWars, but we are going to give this a shot!

This is an open tournament with no sign up required. You can play solo, BYOC, or form/join a corp after game starts. Tournament "Days to Enter" will be set to 3, so no one will be able to enter the game after that time.

• No Delays

Game P - Practice Game - Open Now
Game T - Tournament - Opens Saturday June 15th at 8 PM Eastern Time


Tournament mode is off in the practice game, but on in the tournament game,
with a death limit of
25 and death delay will be ON.

Game duration will be 90 days. At 8 PM Eastern Time of day 90 on the "V" screen, the game will be considered stale if there is no clear dominating team or player.

This years edit will be Poker Run!

I may have increased the port strength (500% for class 0 ports and 200% for standard ports), so be careful!

1. NO DUPES!!! Duplicate accounts will be deleted without warning.

2. No Bug use. If you are not sure about a possible bug, ask me.

3. No Buyouts of any form will be tolerated.

4. No Truce.

Planets will be increased to Max (4000 for 10K Universe). Since players will be planet cashing, I expect high planet usage. I will not consider it a planet buyout unless you appear to be hording planets.

Proxies / VPS are allowed as long as you are not using them to dupe. However, you may not use the same service provider where the game server host is located. You would essentially have near Zero ping and I do not believe TWGS v2 latency settings can adequately compensate for this.

This is a PG-13 server for family entertainment. Profanity or anything inappropriate will not be allowed on comms or any in-game object.

I have no rule against Mega-Corping, but it is still considered Taboo by most players.

In the event of a stalemate, the player or corp with the most deaths remaining will be declared the winner. In the event of a tie, the player or corp with the most Fighters / Credits will be considered the winner.

Can we change the edit to a non product. not everyone has a good cashing script. and I have a feeling this game would be over pretty quick. otherwise.

You guys are afraid to even show up against us?

Let's see if any other teams want to play first.

At the end of the day, we'll write scripts for whatever edit we have to play. If it's not a moo, we'll write or improve different scripts. You're not going to be able to eliminate that regardless of edit.

(Well I wrote this reply once and it disappeared so i guess ill try again.)

Well at the moment "you guys" is just me. So i doubt i will even be able to put a team together. there would have to be changes to get me or i suspect many others to get interested. 10k turns its too much 2,500 will work. and since not everyone has a scripter taking the moo out of it because those kind of cashing scritps are not common.

that being said i hope for a fun game.

The game specs seem a bit out of balance. It appears to be a MOO but with a 200 planet maximum and the rules state no buyouts. Something's gotta give. Am I reading all this correctly?

Product is OK, but lower the turns.

[edit] can we increase planets in this practice game? Already maxed.
