Okay keep in mind the Ice Tournament Starts the 1st week in Feb.

I would never think about intruding on the Ice Tourney. I will think something else up. In the meantime, the rematch is on. I will close the current game and made the appropriate adjustments. I will reopen it as a test game, and close it the day of the tournament, and rebang.

Haha to be honest it wasn't that satisfying. Once I saw no one else had a moo script I knew it'd be over quick. Also very few cols meant you couldn't even get massive amounts of cols to compete a little on money production.

Feel like there needs to be another good game before xmas.. or after.. one involving no planet product perhaps? :)

I have a moo script (not your old one, a new one I created) and was in at the start, but the f'ed up start knocked me out. Shame that happened. I only had about an hour before I had to leave for family obligations that night (being Thanksgiving and all), and when it pushed an hour, I was out.

Hi SB,

Is this just the same edit minus starting product or do you suggest I go check it out closer? :)

Not a fan of this, for the record. I was looking forward to taking my moo script head to head against Hammer's. I guess some other group thought he had an unfair advantage.

The Rematch without product was hammer's idea.

I did make that request given how one sided the previous one was. I do note that your team (Shadow) was late to the party and I also didn't know you had a moo script for a rematch.

I'm sure we can organise another game at some point which is Moo centric. I'm hoping we get 4 teams this time but the won't turn up if they know we have those scripts and they don't.

Figure this will be more even.. I'm not even sure what our strategy will be considering there is nothing super obvious to exploit and I'm not sure I've fired up 'standard' scripts in some time .

There has been a significant amount of interest in this tournament. The reason I went with 4 man corps is because of the lack of interest in previous tournaments. Since this tournament is only taking place because the two corps who competed in the first one wanted a rematch. I will leave it to those two corps to vote in order to determine if we go to 5.

First I heard about getting a 5th, so we'd need to find one.

I'm fairly sure one of our competitors had a 5th last game. Can't prove it and didn't bother me but it seemed 'odd' the way we found one of them :)

However can we get an official ruling on whether megacorping is allowed?

I'll discuss with others over getting a 5th.

We have enough for a fifth and would vote in favor of this, since there seem to be a solid number of recently returned players.

I would also strongly prefer a 5 man game that does not allow megacorping over a four man game that does.

Not sure what you mean by this. as far as I know we didnt have a 5th. You found us becuase i left our base overloaded at extern. as far as adding a 5th im not sure as I am not sure I will even be playing but I will let the corp speak on that

Def found your base due to the overload the first time.

one corp, and I honestly don't remember which, had their planet(s) behind the solo corp players figs. Or that's how it appeared when I was gridding it out.

Looked a bit suspicious.. I'll change it from 'fairly sure' to 'could have been' megacorping. No rule against it, so no big deal.

If there was a rule against it I wouldn't have even mentioned it.. because everyone in that game is honorable and wouldn't cheat.

Please don't take offense to this SK, it was just a mention as it looked like someone was megacorping, which was perfectly within the rules. I just want to clarify if that's still the case.

I don't plan on mega-corping and not even sure where we'll find a 5th. I just want to know if that is something I need to be tactically aware off :)

cheers,

Hammer

Not offended. Just board statements like that with no proof tick me off a little. Not something I would have been apart of. and i dont think anyone on our corp would either....
