It does not work that way w/ ansi menus. And it doesn't always work that way
on just the pause w/ standard menu, a lot depends on the ping of the player.
This is why most scripts set triggers, the behavior is unpredictable.

Parked in Fed as a fedsafe blue and alien are wasting my shields/figs. I haven't really tried this before so I don't know if that is a new thing or not. I should say I like that behavior - just wish they could do it to cloaked players with their 99 figs.

Prom, I already sent John a cap file where I attacked an alien while fedsafe in fedspace and the alien retaliated by podding me. He said he'll get it fixed. This happened a few days ago on the beta server. The alien had negative alignment and clearly outnumbered me in figs. I simply wanted an alignment boost and just sent a wave of figs to try and get the alignment boost and the next thing I knew, I was podded even though i was fedsafe.

Well, it needs to be predictable. Whatever else I do about this login issue, let's get that fixed. So far I haven't been able to reproduce the behavior, but I'll keep trying.

Apologies for not doing any Beta testing over the last month. I have no internet at home and have been using my laptop at various wi-fi hotspots to stay in touch with friends and co-workers.

I'm still going to go ahead to bang the Bot Wars game I had planned and will announce a bang date in the near future, then check in on the game from day to day. I'll run two versions - turn based and unlimited turns so both types of players have an opportunity to play. Give me about a week to get this going.

Glad to hear that you're still planning on running that game. However, I'm already past deadline and need to get this thing released, hopefully within a few days. That doesn't mean that the importance of testing on this server will be diminished. This will continue to be the only server running the full debug version, so any bugs that appear here will have a far better chance of being fixed than the same bug being reported from a public game site. So I hope people will still join these games and let me see how the game handles under normal use.
