ahh.. no truce.

max commands=100 good. better than unlimited. once you get all the games a little toned down, I bet your server runs even smoother.

you did it right.

we just decided not to kill everyone from the start.
we had a decent jump on start and could have bought a few bigger ships then sat around and waited for you guys.

instead, we just kept on cashing, mostly afk hoping you guys were noober than me. :D

thats the problem with non truce and not many players (also my lower skill and bad decision making on hoping to play awhile)

I find no enjoyment in playing for an hour and killing everyone that comes in game with their Standard or Colo ship. That requires no skill. Even I, as noob, can do it.
If we went that route.. whats the fun in cashing/gridding all alone? or making a few planets all alone? For what? In hopes that you might get another someone pop in so you can kill them too before they are there long enough to move 20 sectors.

I dont like that.. its weak and no fun.
Some people like this though and love the hour long game. If so, more power to em.. But personally I would like competition on the level of "it doesnt take 1 power up to kill my enemy"

depends on your likes..
sometimes I get a game when others would also rather play then have it finished in a hour.

although I do not like the truce game that goes far enough to result in a stalemate of just mothing back and forth either.

hard to find a good situation.
although.. a 2 day truce sub game with regular cits does make for a decent game.. in my short experience.

Well it is called Legion's Subzero so there will be a 2 day truce on next rebang.

Well c1 had a 45min head start more then enough time to get enough cash to buy a ship and defend themselves. If I see a none truce and the chance to kill off any competition why not? I apologize if I didn't realize that this is supposed to be a noob game, should have posted that maybe?

This edit is not complicated, there is no real need to drag out anything to the point as you say where everyone is mothing and nothing is being accomplished. Cash/alien planets/cash/grid done...again, I didn't realize this was a silent truce game, I DO know that playing with no other players is a BLAST....beat your old record or something who knows. Good luck and if you want game is still available, alien planets are still intact, so are yours! I will leave my Red in your sector. Good luck and have fun!

Will rebang tomorrow 3/2/09 7PM EST Start with a 2 day truce till "V" says three. And the Alien planets will stay beefed up. (Note) there now is a Ferrengal II in the game....Hope all can come back then and try this again. :wink:

Onlly issue with making the alien planets stronger is that it can take more resources than it is worth to take them in an edit with fairly quick cit build times. Actually kind of a fine line on when the cost of the investment in time, credits, and pods for a "prefab" L5 or L6 outweighs the benefits. It does make for a strategy decision in the game.

Not sure what they are like now, but, the way they were before was Way too easy.

1 player takes all 3 in a couple minutes.. only has to land once per planet to cap it. too easy.
