I think it's pretty clear he wants humans playing without a
computer 'assist' such as scripts or macros. I think it's a
reasonable request, and my only request was that it be well
posted. We shouldn't debate it too much here in rebangs.

Yes, hang in there. It may take a while for #1 the manual players to come back & #2 for them to feel confident that they won't get stomped on my heavy script users.

A good friend of mine, actually the guy who introduced me to Tradewars still to this day insists on playing 100% by hand. He hasn't played in years, he's trying to get his telnet client working with his Mac. I'll let him know you have a sever he'd enjoy playing on.

Personaly, I do use some scripts for trading, hauling and colonizing and he's of the same opinion you are He thinks I'm cheating. Hehe..

But, that's the beauty of this game, you can create different games for different playing styles. Even for the 2400 baud croud! (That's what I started on as well.)
