I'd like to start a new round of TWX scripting classes, starting in the next week or two. I'll be testing out blogtalkradio for the hosting, since Skypecast is no more. I've started a poll. Please add suggestions or vote on existing ones if you plan on attending. Suggest here as well, but be sure to vote there eventually. I'll firm up dates shortly. Vote here. Regards, +EP+ |

You'll get a lot of the basic stuff probably, but I'd like to cover more advanced text processing stuff. Like the way xide sends macro loops to the server and manages to keep track of everything in pack 2 stuff. Advanced script timing stuff provides a real edge in many game situations. |

If you guys go through with this I request that you record it for future referance. Besides even though I would love to be there I more than liekly will not be able to with my schedule. |

I *think* recording is inherent with blogtalkradio. One way or the other though, it will be recorded. |

I think it is an excellent idea that could help a lot of people. Reading code is one way, but to understand the why that it is being done is a lot better way to learn. The subjects I've posted on are written for people who have had little or no exposure to writing anything, and it would be good for others to proof read to make sure I'm not sending people down the wrong path and clarify as they see fit. I see a need for very basic examples and then mid to higher level information. |
