So I was carefully analyzing tedit settings this evening, and focused in on Turn Accumulation. My initial thought was "I need to provide a few days on the turn bank because most Tradewars players have jobs."

But then I had a double-take when it occurred to me that "...many Tradewars players are RETIRED!?!?!?!"

We are on the edge of history with this thing!!! People are going to STUDY us in the future:

From the wikihistory psi-hologram (circa 2178 CE), topic "Tradewars 2002"
Lionmane is credited as being the greatest Tradewars 2002 player to ever live. He had no recorded defeats in any of the tournaments held. In 2061, a movie was made documenting his most famous tournament. Sean Connery was selected to play his role. Unfortunately, this movie has been lost in time. But it is alleged to have outlined his famous "Death Blossom" strategy.

Sigh... So what is my point?

History will never know the truth if we allow it to die. And it doesn't take much to keep it alive.

This is the season of our last chance to write history. Are you *sure* your name is in there?

Even retired folks have lives...

Turn banks are a good thing.. otherwise it's like punching a clock, use'em or lose'em.

Port regens as well, I like to set mine to 11 hours.

How can History ‘know’ anything?

A wise man once wrote, in an often quoted book:
What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun. - Ecclesiastes 1:9

The way I see it, we’re all prisoners trapped in the Web of History. Those who does not learn History are doomed to repeat it; ad infinitum.

So. I’ll take a 2 Day turn bank. Thanks.

You only have a few years of retirement before you die. Most Tradewars players are working!

I'll probably die before I retire. Most Tradewars Players are dead. There are only a couple dozen of us left.

Ummm... How does one set a Port Regen to "11 hours?" Do you mean to say "200%" By the time I set my port regen to that level, YOU'RE GOING TO NEED IT! Lol!

I prefer my edits to be subtle and "Whoah! DUUUUUUUUDE!" I think a first-timer in my 30K Unlimited recently had one of those moments when he found out what I meant by "edited planets." Lol!
