Quote: You may select 1 option This is how I view the game, a way to think outside of the assigned box. You say I have only one option, like the game saying 'You must type this whole game out by hand.' I say, 'There's ways around that!' The game itself is a simple, yet complex game. It involves strategy, tactics, a dash of math. It has a nostalgic form of instant messaging for a social aspect. Being able to set up a set of commands to be sent all at once for amazingly fast actions, too cool... Having a couple programs that add graphics and scripting is the reason the game has lasted imo. It makes an interesting game more fun to play. A game you can set in motion, then stop back now and again..checking on progress and tweaking commands. You can't boil peoples opinions into two categories, that's Sith thinking. Don't start this us vs. them business. |

No, I'm not trying to start a us vs. them, just curious to learn how people view this game today. Personally, I still like to get caught-up in the roll playing strategy aspect. But I can see how this is also a pretty cool tool for programmers to use to practice their coding skills. |

Option C - I like to play this game using scripts because it's fast and still provides a great role playing scenario. It allows me to compete on a multiplayer platform using my advanced skills and knowledge. |
