Post subject:  BOT / DUPE Wars

I will be banging a game on Sunday at 6 PM central for those who want to try their bot and / or duping abilities out. The game will allow 4 corpies that may be duped in or live players, and will use WW II edits but with a 10k sector, 1500 turn move setting.

The game will close to new players after 2 days. Rotation of corpies (dupe or real) is not permitted - 4 to a corp, not 4, remove one, add new and so on.

I am posting this in general discussions to get feedback to see if anyone is interested in this type of game, and I am open to suggestions on sector size, turns, time limit if desired, or whatever else.

Corpies are not Dupes
Corpies are friends you play Tw2002 with ....move along with this Dead horse.

Well, if you had a clue, and you don't, you would read that players can be live corpies or dupes that can be botted. If a player wishes to play their dupes manually, that is fine. If someone wishes to see how they would fair by botting their dupes against a live corp, then power to them. If they are wanting to learn more about using bots to control players then it is better to fuse/SD a dupe instead of a live corpie.

If I had a corpie that was just learning the commands, then this would be the game for that player.

I personally think you should read a bit before getting defensive on the botted players are dupes from a different IP issue. And, also on a personal note, I really don't give a Darn what you think.

you could have up to 6k. Also an unlimited like that would be too much to handle.

I'd play, but I just can't bring myself to dupe even if it's allowed. I guess I've programmed myself in certain manor so that it just doesn't seem right. Guess I'll just have to stick to solo games or with games where bot use is universally accepted.
