So, I've been doing a great deal of retro gaming lately, mostly the SSI Gold Box games through DosBox, but it made me start thinking about some of the great BBS games I played during high school in the early 90's.

So, long story short, I see there is this vibrant community playing TW2002, and I'm wondering if it's possible for me to take part on my Mac?

I didn't see any clear cut directions for joining a game, so thought I would ask.

Thanks,
Zep

I've been trying to get my helper working properly on Mac. I just committed some changes the other day to make it use the Apple Java Extensions to integrate better with the OSX menu bar and dock. I haven't been able to test the changes because my only access to a Mac is at work. They're in the 1.1-SNAPSHOT build.

This is where I must show my ignorance. I turn my Mac on, and it does stuff, beyond that, I know nothing. :)

I followed the link and found this spot.
maven/com/chalcodes/weaponm/assembly/WeaponM/1.1-SNAPSHOT

It has several files in there, but I have no idea which one I need. Like I said...ignorant. :)

This one: http://chalcodes.com/maven/com/chalcode ... indows.zip Hopefully it will work well on Mac, despite the file name. Inside the zip is an executable jar. I don't know much about Mac behavior, though. Maybe some good info here: http://apple.stackexchange.com/question ... e-click-it

w00t!

I'm playing Trade Wars in one of the games on CrushersTW! Now I have to figure out how to dial into other games as well.

I was able to test my changes on OSX 10.8.3. I'm quite pleased. The Mac integration seems to be working properly. The only thing I missed was changing the name of the app in the menu bar.
