What happens SPECIFICALLY when you get popped in TW? Correct any of these that are wrong:

If you get podded by another trader, you lose your ship and some XP, as long as you have a ship with a pod. No planet loss, no loss of figs, no $ loss.

If you get podded by a fed, same as if you get podded anywhere else. No planet loss, no loss of figs, no $ loss. Small XP loss

If you get #SD#'d by another trader, you lose all onhand $, your ship and some XP, might be kicked out of the game for 24 hours if there is a death delay. I don't believe your planets and figs go rogue.

Quasar blast or death by deployed figs, same as getting podded, ship and xp loss only.

#SD#'d by quaser blast or #SD#'d by deployed figs, I think same as getting #SD#'d by an enemy trader.

Get murdered at stardock, all xp loss, all $ lost no figs lost, no planets lost, align reset to zero.

Self destruct, all xp lost, all $ lost, *I think* planets and figs go rogue, alignment set to -10.

Anything wrong or missing?

When you get podded, you lose your cash.

When you cby, you do not lose your planets. Planets only go rogue when the assigned owner is removed from the game (doesn't play and times out, or is deleted).

Hm, ok. Somehow I got it in my head that planets and figs can go rogue with some deaths.

So if you're podded, you lose your ship, cash, and some xp. If you're #SD#'d, exact same thing plus possible death delay depending on config. Doesn't matter how.

Get murdered at stardock, all xp loss, all $ lost, align reset to zero.

Self destruct, all xp lost, all $ lost, alignment set to -10.

Right?

Deaths won't send stuff rogue. Rogue is the "default"
owner that the game assigns whenever the actual owner
disappears. It's the game's way of handling a fubared
owner field in the db. You can force stuff to go rogue
if your assets are corp, and everyone drops corp.

Podded, you lose your ship, cash, and some exp. If
you're SD you lose more exp, any cash, your ship,
and possible death delay.

If you get murdered at dock, your exp and align are
reset, and all your money.

If you cby, all your money and exp poof, align goes -10.

So yep, you've got it.

These 2 depend on alignment.

IF you are red and get murdered, your exp and align are
reset, and all your money. (not sure what happens if you are blue)

IF you cby and are blue then all your money and exp poof, align goes -10.
IF you cby and you are red then all your money but you dont lose all your align or xp

If you are low enough alignment to get murdered at dock, you will reset your align and experience either way.

If you are red and cby, you lose your money and xp. Your alignment, however, is not reset. In other words, cby will never improve your alignment.

[quote="Thorindude"]Hm, ok. Somehow I got it in my head that planets and quote]

Not with deaths, with player inactivity. In the "V" screen it will tell you how long before inactive players are deleted, default is 30 days but many sysops bump that up.

It's only after your player has not logged into the game for X number of days that everything goes rouge.

Now, if you had a single member corp and decided to drop corp and join another, if you don't turn all your corp assets personal first, they will go rogue.

No deaths involved in either case.
