has anyone seen or used a remapped keyboard... such as: take ansi characters off the extended ansi character map and use them to construct a player name to confound ptorp/attack scripts that rely on recognized names generated from normal keyboard setup ?? |

You can't use extended characters in TW. It won't accept them in a name. You also can't use "R" or "F" or game ranks as a name, either. Most ptorpers do not rely on the name. They check the fighit, then they go. That sometimes means that corpies get torped. |

Takes a fraction of an MS longer, adds a little complexity, but overall not difficult to do. Most people don't tho, mombot's foton doesn't. |
