Idea, I have been thinking about the idea of an International Trade Wars Server Competition. The idea could, if I understand Trade Wars, work. Every 6months or so, a server (one big enough) could run this massive game. All servers that are registered can enter 5 players for the competition. One Game would be a Corp game (with the 4 from each server on the same team) and the other a solo game with the best solo players from each server competing. The winning server would have the most overall points(i still haven't figured out the point system yet) and their prize would be to host the games the next time. Kinda like the olympics of Trade Wars. The servers who would host would be able to have the exposure that comes with the games.

Granted some of the details need to be worked out, like moderators, web site for public viewing and server capacities. But thats why I brought the idea here, for your scrutiny.

I think this is a good ideea for many reasons:
1) It would increase the exposure of Trade Wars on the net.
2) It would get a new infusion of new blood into the game, kinda kick start it with new players and new dynamics.
3) It would give those who take Trade Wars seriously the chance to go up against the best to prove their talents.
4) It would give those who take it less seriously the chance to watch, learn new techniques and hopefully, tell their buddies on the net about it!!
5) It would link the game as never before, the Trade Wars Universe would no longer need to be segregated to individual servers, It would be truly universal.

BASIC IDEA OF GAME SPECS(corp game):
- 20,000 sectors
- No Aliens
- Max 4 per corp
- Unlimited Turns
- 1 Month Duration

BASIC IDEA OF GAME SPECS(solo game):
- 5,000 sectors
- Aliens
- No Corps
- 5,000 Turns
- 1 Month Duration

So there it is....I'd appreciate your input on my Ideas.
