As has been my intention for some time, I am preparing to work on my Ultimate Perma Corp tournament. It will be invite only. I do not yet have a definite criteria for what will be considered a legitimate perma, feel free to sugest things if you feel moved. I do have some things in my head and will put them out there when the time comes. In the meantime, I am trying to get a semi-accurate list of Perma Corps. We have a partial list at : http://www.twlinks.com/corps.html I know of some missing though. Star Endeavors, Cloudnine, Isis' perma, and such come to mind. I will be spamming as many TW places as I can with this message, please contact hekate@twlinks.com to have your perma added to the list. My selection of permas will be based on that list, as it is the official list of Permas for the Chicken Coop (heheh). Yes, Hekky, paid me $50 for that . Anyway, all permas will need a website, including list of members on that website, or available to me. If you do not have a website, get one . If you need help, I or many others can help you. I don't need anything flashy, just a page saying This is my perma, our members are XYZ. You don't even need a domain, geocities is fine . That is my first criteria for a perma corp. Anyway, you have a week or so, I think mid next week I will announce some more details, such as the settings, all ships and planets will be stock. If you have any questions, shoot, and I will answer. Righto, a little taste, its gonna be stock ships and planets. Edits will be balanced I think . My main issue is trying to figure out how to end it. If its a death limit game you will be eliminated early, at the same time, i don't want it to run forever.... I am thinking about running it similar to WTC, winner wins by forcing all other corps into submission.... Thats where I am leaning. Anyway, settings will be 1/4 move delay, probably 2 or 3 second photon, 4 to 8k colos per day, 4 day port regen, 4 day bust clear. That is where I am leaning, none of that is set in stone. Also, will be TWGS mode, so no mega-rob. Because this game will not pander to newbies, I think photon from fed will be on. There will be no time limit. Hi Sanders. Xel'Naga does not exist anymore. The bulk of it was invited to merge with Boo Inc. (I think I am the only one that was not invite) so that is one less perma corp. for you tourny. Sorry Fenix You have been weighed. You have been measured. And you have been found wanting. |
