Ok, I'm in a relatively small game that's only been going on for about 2.5 weeks, my corp is dominating but we still dont have enough to blockade Star Dock. We tried blowing it up but quickly found that it regenerates . . . and that it regenerates as a bigger, badder SD. What do we do if we want to keep control of this game? and is there any way to blow up Star Dock every night after extern runs because the ISS is now no longer enough to take out SD. What do we do?

If you want to truly dominate this game, kill all the others and take their stuff.

I think thats the point of SD. If your blow it up, U usually can't do it twice. C'est La Vie!! But like Vader said....kill the others....that should let u dominate

Ok, on that note, kill the others . . . we can't seem to find that last player, he eludes us, we've tried e-probing, manually searching, even talking to grimey (Which in my opion is pretty useless.) AND WE STILL CAN'T FIND HIM!! are we doing something wrong?

begin dropping figs in all the deadends and bubbles. Every sector you move to, drop a fig, then when he kills figs, go replace them. Eventually you will find him.

And drop limpits out in the universe too. That never hurts if you have a lot of spare $$ layin around.

Well there's some scripts avail. that allow you to drop figs at every sector you warp too. After this is done, you can get another script that as soon as he warps into a sector with a fig, before he has a chance to kill it, your t-warped right to that sector. Also have scripts to follow as your attacking and he's fleeing.

It's my experience that in a low turn game, scripts to drop figs in sectors aren't very useful, as they are inefficiant. I normally do all my fig and mine dropping by hand. In a 700 turn game, it doesn't take very long to use up all of your turns.

If this is a low turn game, then it probably is a low sector count. It would be much easier to find him if you had a good deal of the universe explored. You should have a ZTM done by this point in the game, and you should be sending probes to all the deadends. If you've already done this at some point in the game, what I do is run a script which tells me all the deadends with ports that have been blocked.

Another good thing about figs everywhere is that when you logon, read your messages and watch the first fig that player hits and the last. Also watch for patterns like 3 figs hit in a row that all form a nice line to Stardock. Then work backwards from there trying to figure out where he came from and send probes out to deadends in the area.

Grimy isn't useless if they are online at the time and they aren't dropping figs, which a surprising number of people don't do. Or soemtimes people will port close to their base and not realize it.
