Hi, I had some trouble sending a macro to a player running oz's bot this morning and was wondering if somebody could explain what happened. I was trying to send him to dock to load a ship up with torps. I sent the following: mac 4223*yy mac pshp4*qq Somehow he ended up in the wrong sector and was SD'd by the other corp. HELP?! |

When you mac someone to move you should always do it with mac M4223*yy from the sector prompt also twarp in the computer could have been turned off. Just thought of something else if it is a blue with 1k aliment then you can also use mac nsyy. |

Also, he could have been in a ship without a twarp. |

I got podded that way once and it was because i didn't have enough fuel to make the warp. River Rat |

It was a twarp ship, I'd just loaded it with fuel and macced him to xport into it. |

I always used "mxxxx*yy*" It's been a while ... but ? if its less then 5k secs and u enter the xxxx without a "m" first- u go straight to the twarp prompt don't you? so xxxx then * would take you off twarp to expresS? like i said its been a while... might want to add a enter to your port-stardock ( add enter) in case of limpet? oz |

If you add an enter and ther isn't a limpet, you'll wander around dock and possibly get mugged |

It was me he was moving and this is the way I see it....It was a 5k sec game. From what I can figure is the move delay was off so when he entered the sec # 4223 it went to the twarp prompt. The *-(enter) sent a no to it thus going to the express prompt....The rest is cosmic dust.... 599 and below needed the * but 600 and above (5000 sec universe) doesn't need the * with the move delay off. Move delay on and ya need a * to move to any sec....Sound bout right? |

Ship delay (what I think you're referring to as movement delay) has no affect on needing to hit enter. |

if its a 5k secotr game then thats what happened, darn auto completing sectors I hate em. It affects a few other scripts too. |

Its really easy to avoid the whole thing just always use the move “M” command when using a burst or macro and I would believe the same would apply when your writing a script. |

nod- i always use "m" before sec # it avoids the problems with small universes auto going to twarp prompt- just use m sec# * - learn it |
