First, this is coolest game I've stumbled onto recently. After the initial addicition, I feel more people should be down with it. I know some of you out there wouldn't agree, but considering what games are out there today it isn't worth it.

This generation will not, and won't experence these games unless they are exposed too them. So, why not expose them. Flood them with. How you may ask? Quite simple.

Cell phones. Why not? Sorry, to say I can't code if my life depended on it. So I asking you programming gurus too put your heads together for the next killer app. Trade Wars Wireless.

LOL...funny guys funny, thats all we need, people driving down the street running over other people cause theyre playing cell phone tw.

I heard once of someone (not going to use names...) who actually threw his wife off of his lap & started ranting and raving like a lunatic when he was podded this one time.

In instances like the one above... It would be SCARY AS HELL to see this reaction by someone using a cell phone to play tradewars while driving.

Aw hell, people driving while talking on cell phones SCARE me as it is. People driving while playing tradewars would downright TERRIFY me.

You'd never get a cell phone to display enough information to actually play the game, and even if it was somehow managed, you'd have one incredible disadvantage over other players.

On the other hand, a PalmPilot helper application might be doable (or applications for any other handheld computing device capable of wireless internet access), though it would take a lot of work to either a) make the application filter out and readjust the display of text blocks sent by the server or b) readjust the text blocks from within the game itself for proper display on a PalmPilot.

Still, it would probably be doable if anyone really wanted to bother with it.

Heck, I'd use it.

hey I'm some of the young crowd to play tradewars and it is terrible that we are losing more and more poeple from tradewars. Heck we have more servers then people. So yes it would work. Only tradewars is already addictive do we rally want it more addicitve.

People playing TW on a cell phone while driving sumthing like a semi with 80,000 tons on board YEAH RIGHT

I mean sure it would be a great idea until eis got sued for making the game that causes people to go over a hill or run over someone for getting #SD#
