I'm playing in a game on Digiplay.net [game name Omega Prime(DMA 1)] running on: Ver# 2.03a running under The Major BBS.
The other day, I logged off after checking all my assets. I had about a 5-6 sector little nook in the universe, which had 50,000 fighters and lots of mines in a few of the sectors, and about 10 planets (5-6) with citadels. Ranging from Level 1 to Level 5 (working on Level 6).
Anyways, I logged off, and when I logged back on, I went to twarp to my home planet, and work on colonizing one of my Oceanics, I was startled to have my twarp fail to lock. I immediately went to the log to look and see if anyone had been attacked by quasar cannons, launched photon missiles, etc.. There wasnt anything in the log. I rechecked my messages (there were none) to see if my fighters had reported being attacked.
I went to my sector, and I found that all of my assets had been converted over to mercenaries. The exact amount of mines and fighters in each sector that used to be mine, now no longer belonged to me. I listed my current assets (fighters, planets, ships) and I had none.
The Sysop seems confused, like he doesnt understand what happened. (I certainly dont seem to understand it) And I remember a guy asking me about something similar earlier on when I started. Is this a known bug?
Can anyone help me out?
I've put a lot of work into this game, I'd hate to lose everything when noone even attacked me or anything.
