Unread post Seemingly Random disconnects...
Hi,

A few of my users have been having issues with Relogging into my Server (www.TheSprawl.ca:2002, check out the greatest new Edit this Year: STAR WARS ...a new hope!

Not everyone appears to be effected, and the greatest issue with relogging occurs when the TWGS is brought back online; some users are not able to get a response from the Server, some do not appear to have any issue. Other times a connection is dropped on some Nodes for no apparent reason.

the TWGS is running on a Win Server Standard Edition, Service pack 2.

Any insite would be appreciated.

I don't know about insight but, I have had users saying they had issues as well. I have watched them try to reconnect after bringing the server back on line with my v1 server and they fill 30-40 nodes with 'unknown" before it settles down and they get clean connections. At first I blamed the VMware Workstation for the random disconnects, then I replaced it with a physical server and the players told me it was much better. My CPC has been set to 100 since I brought the server online for Vic's Hell. That is the only setting I can think of that might be causing a problem.

I am running it on Windows XP sp3
